What signing in means
Your email is not shown
It signs you in and is never shown publicly. From Google we keep only the address it verifies and an account id. No name, no photo.
A handle, not your name
You get a generated handle and an illustrated avatar. Neither comes from your name or your email, and they are all anyone else will see.
Change it, or keep it
You can change your handle once every 30 days. One you let go is held for 90 days so nobody else can take it.
Where this handle will be used
Nothing here needs an account today. These are planned, not built. When one arrives it will need to know who is posting, and your handle is the name you post under.
